Travel Options
With Public Transport
From the north and east (Basel, Zurich, Munich), Chur (in the direction of Arosa, St. Moritz, Flims Laax Falera, Disentis Sedrun) and Landquart (in the direction of Klosters, Davos, Scuol) act as public transport hubs. The Engadin–Meran route operated by PostBus Graubünden runs from Mals in Italy through the picturesque Val Müstair and the Swiss National Park to Zernez in the Engadine. Bus services to Scuol with a rail connection to St. Moritz are also available from Landeck on the Austrian rail network (Munich, Innsbruck, Vienna).
From the west, you can reach Graubünden via the Oberalp Pass. For example, on the famous Glacier Express, the direct rail service from Zermatt to St. Moritz and on to Davos.
From the south, express PostBus services travel from Bellinzona to Chur and from Lugano to St. Moritz. The legendary route of the Bernina Express also connects Tirano (Italian rail network; Milan) with St. Moritz.

By Car
As an international transalpine route (San Bernardino), the A13 autobahn leads straight through Graubünden on the Munich-Milan axis. From Zurich, you can reach Graubünden via the A3 autobahn in around 60 minutes.
Motorway Tolls
The usual price for a vignette (motorway toll stickers) is 40.00 CHF (26 EUR). The vignette is valid from 1st December of the previous year to 31st January of the following year. If you have a trailer or a camper van, you are required to purchase an additional vignette. The vignette is available at e-vignette.ch as well as at border crossings, Swiss post offices, petrol stations, etc.
Car Transport
From the Prättigau to the Engadine or vice versa. The Rhaetian Railway transports you and your car through the Vereina Tunnel in 18 minutes every day. And this every 30 minutes during peak hours.
By Aeroplane
The nearest international airports are in Zurich, Basel and Lugano. These have excellent connections to the Swiss transport network. You can also reach Graubünden by car in just two to four hours from the airports in Friedrichshafen, Innsbruck, Milan and Munich.
