Retro Deco & Casual Plaid
Here's a sneak preview of a couple upcoming fonts. Two exciting font releases coming soon to Chank.com, collaborative work by recent graduates from MCAD & SCAD. Thanks to Tim Degner, Anne Ulku & Carla Zetina-Ygelsias for helping to make some neat new fonts.
One is a casual, hand-drawn display type inspired by plaid (tartan) textiles and hipsters. The other is a revival based on a 1940s type specimen that also has a bit of an 80s retro flavor to it. The two new typefaces were drawn by Tim and fontified by Annie & Carla.
