I guess the chances of anyone knowing this are remote (pardon the pun), but just in case:
Does anyone know how the remote release cable is wired?
I want to spice two remotes together to fire two cameras from one button (and also change the button so it is a better one for holding the camera on pre-record burst). I'm presuming this is quite a simple job but am not sur...
I am thinking about buying an ex-F1 because of its speed. Does anyone know how long it takes to expose the 5 pictures in "Focus bracketing" mode?

I've been trying to take pics with the wider aperture, daylight, shutter speeds of 1/6400, 1/3200 and 1/200 and in all cases the pics appear so dark that they're unusable.
Do you guys know how to possibly take pics with those settings and ISO 100 or 200?
I just tested it with ISO 1600 and the results were still pretty dark...

When I zoom in and manually focus on my subject, for some reason the focus changes to somewhere else as soon as I hit the record button.
Is this normal?

We just got this camera at work and I have been messing around with it. It is the perfect camera for animation reference! What do others here use it for?
The Ex-F1 is a virtual maze of functions. Awesome! But there are some things we wonder about, I'm sure.

Why doesn't the EX-F1 have a bulb function for long exposure? We got a remote shutter in the package, so would it be too much trouble to include that function? For those who don't know, bulb function is where yo...
Witch program do you prefere for cutting your EX-F1 videos (Win and Linux). The ap should handle the different video formats (60fps FullHD, Highspeed etc)
Ado.. Premie.. does not support the ".mov" files and I am fed up to the back teeth converting them.
