One of Three East Coast Eichlers in Existence Just Hit The Market for $575K
A slice of California modernism is up for grabs in the Northeast. Located just 30 minutes north of Manhattan in Spring Valley, New York, the rare post-and-beam home was designed by renowned architects Jones and Emmons and built in 1962 by developer Joseph Eichler.
Boasting signature midcentury modern features, the five-bedroom abode is one of only three Eichlers located along the East Coast. But that’s not the only aspect that sets it apart. Earlier this year, the property served as the main house for the upcoming sci-fi film After Yang starring Colin Farrell.
To prepare for the home’s screen debut, the current owners revamped much of the space, treating the house to a new roof, new windows and floors, a kitchen remodel, and a fresh paint. Scroll ahead to take a peek inside the property, currently listed for $575,000.
130 Grotke Road in Spring Valley, NY, is currently listed for $575,000 by Devorah Sekula of Q HOME SALES. Devorah can also be reached at +1 (845) 548-9486.
