Goats Cheese Bonbons

Ingredients

Makes: 24
Prep: 10 minutes
Refrigerate: At least 30 minutes

  • 300g soft goats cheese

  • 3g mixed soft green herbs such as parsley, dill and chives, finely chopped  

  • 2g crushed pink peppercorns .

  • 2g toasted sesame seeds 

  • 3tbsp chopped toasted hazelnuts

Method

  • Spread the chopped green herbs, pink peppercorns, sesame seed and hazelnut decoration in a thin layer on separate plates. Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper. 

  • Divide the cheese into 24 equal portions. Form a goats cheese portion into small ball by rolling gently between the palm of your hands.

  • Place onto the greaseproof paper and repeat with the remaining goats cheese. 

  • Roll the truffles in alternate directions, return to the lined baking tray, repeat until all the goats cheese balls are coated.

  • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
