TASHKENT, Jan. 3 (Xinhua) -- Uzbekistan will establish a coordination council for its analytical and research structures, local media reported on Friday, citing the country's ministry of justice.
According to the report, the council's main task will be regular submission of strategic analytical documents and proposals on domestic and foreign policies to the president.
The council will serve as an advisory body responsible for organizing strategic research on internal and external political processes.
Working groups will operate under the council to address areas such as security and social stability, state and public development, socio-economic growth, foreign policy and international cooperation, strategic planning and regional development, as well as environmental issues, including climate change and water scarcity.
