Calibration needs are vehicle-specific and can include in-shop calibration, on-road calibration, or both types of procedures. Calibration requires special equipment and training. Additionally, in-shop, or static, calibrations, require very precise measurements, in a controlled environment.

In the past, when a vehicle was involved in a front-end collision, a technician could simply repair the structural damage and move on. Now, it’s not so simple.
