Cycling a Broody Hen in the House

This has been a long time coming for us where we will have a hen go from finishing out one brood to completing another in the house so kids and I can track pretty much everything that goes on. Hen just weaned two chicks and started making the sound (recorded) that advertises she is coming into lay and looking for a nesting site. I went out and got rooster. Hen crouched soliciting him to mate. Immediately after that he started to look for nest site for her and doing his set of sounds and behaviors as well. He will stay in house until first egg is laid then will only be in for conjugal visits.

One of the most surprising things I discovered when having a nest box in use inside my house was some hens snore.
 
Location of nest site in daughter’s bedroom. I’ll put a better nest in so kitten does not roll eggs around before hen begins to incubate.
