Hey guys, I thought I would share my coops with you all. It’s a 6’x12’ base frame that goes up to a little over 6’ at the peak of the A-frame. 1/3 of the coop is an enclosed house and the other 2/3 is an outdoor run. I have one house equipped with a small solar panel that powers a battery box from which I can power indoor lights, a camera and in the near future an outdoor motion light. The electrical connections are plug in style connectors that allows you to unplug and move your houses around. For the outdoor run I covered all sides with 2”x4” metal field fence and I’m covering each run with shade cloth material. Because the coops are not a huge space I only lock them inside at night time and they all free range during the daytime. I hope you guys find this interesting and maybe inspire some ideas!
