I just thought I was buying my husband a figurine set to display, but these are poseable, and include interchangeable parts (like facial expressions, megabuster shots, etc.), which makes it even more fun. Well made, and a perfect gift for any Megaman fan!
If you read my review for the D-Arts Bass figure, you'll know that I own at least four more figures of this line, and I am proud to say that Mega Man is my fifth. The Bass figure didn't quite meet the standard of what the other figures of the D-Arts line, while still being a welcome addition, but Mega Man is not such a story. He has the same level of quality and care as Mega Man X, Zero and Vile had.
The articulation for the arms is the only real fault I can find with the figure, as I can't seem to bring his arms down along his side; they seem to curve a little bit, like a monkey, rather than coming straight. But his head and neck articulation are great, the posibility of his arms and legs, and the ease of access of removing the helmet and face plate replacement were all great and perfect. And with less to go wrong than with Bass' figure, Mega Man has shown to be a nice, sturdy-standing figure, some a lot of potential for dynamic poses.
Because Mega Man has less detailing than the other figures -notably his lack of torso armor- the visibility of creases were inevitable, but the one on the chest isn't intrusive, and they cover the other creases very well on his arms, shoulders, knees and legs very very well, much better than the eyesores Bass had to deal with. Basically, any fault I had with the Bass figure is not present here. He also has an effect piece, his iconic three bullets -as any fan of the games will say, only three on-screen at a time!~ Mega Man is a top-notch figure, like X, Zero and Vile previously.
Megs' robot dog, Rush, comes bundled in, and is a huge improvement from the letdown that was Bass' companion, Treble. Rush's neck moves up and down, Rush's head can turn and swivel a bit, his legs move at the shoulders, knees and paws, and can be positioned in a variety of ways! Too bad he doesn't have a more fearsome face plate though. But, the dopey, happy mutt look is usually a staple with the pooch, so no big deal there. And don't ask about transformations. Methinks that'd be too much to ask for, and it might require more assembly to do right. Also, the little Metool enemy that comes along with the two, it's a glorified set piece at best; no articulation as to be expected, but you can remove the helmet nice and easy to make it seem like it's hiding like in true Mega Man fashion. (You might also be able to put it on other figures for some funny little poses.
If you're a fan of the series, or even just collecting D-Arts, this is a well worth-it purchase -I got mine cheaper than Bass, so food for thought there. Great posing, nice effects, and nifty accompanying pieces in Rush and even the Metool. I like it, I'd say it's a high 4 on the star rating, but just enough to say 'eh, you get a five on technicality.' Here's to hoping for Mega Man's brother, Protoman, as a future D-Arts figure!

Got them for my sons birthday, he loves them. The only thing is the instructions were in Japanese but since it's not rocket science it was easy to figure out.
