I am a big fan of the Pokemon anime (Team Rocket especially) and I'm trying to learn more about the original Japanese production of the show. I'm also in the process of learning the Japanese language and bought this CD hoping that it might help me to learn! This is a mini-CD, about half the size of a regular CD, but it should play just fine on your CD player or computer. I also transferred it to my iPod with no problem. The paper insert inside of the plastic case has some pictures of Musashi (Jessie), Kojiro (James), Nyaasu (Meowth) and Sonansu (Wobbuffet) on the front and back. Inside there are lyrics printed in Japanese hiragana. Plus, it comes with a small sheet of really cool stickers! The CD has three tracks-

The first one is based on an ending theme from the Japanese anime, where Team Rocket talks about looking to the future after being "blasted off again". It is a very happy song, and makes me smile every time I hear it. It wasn't quite what I had expected when I first heard it, and I thought it was a little strange. But it grows on you really fast, and now Maemuki Roketto Dan and its remix version are tied for my favorite song of all time, Japanese or English!
The next track is a karaoke version of the first. It's hard to sing in Japanese... but if you listen to these songs a MILLION times, it gets easier. *grin* Yaaaaay!
The last is a very fun remix. It has a lot of "para para"s... Beware if you happen to think Sonansu is annoying when he pops up and shouts his name, because in this track it happens many times!
If you don't speak Japanese, I would recommend looking up the English lyrics. The song is so positive, happy and slightly goofy- the Team Rocket we know and love! This CD is a bit on the pricey side for only three songs (I bought mine for $35) and does take a while to ship from Japan. But it is worth it for any Pokemon, Team Rocket, or j-pop fan! Team Rocket Forever!
