The Society for Interdisciplinary Studies (SIS) is a UK-based organisation with worldwide membership, formed in response to a growing interest in the works of modern catastrophists who have stimulated controversy in the fields of cosmology, geology, catastrophism and ancient history. Click here for more about the SIS.

SIS membership brings together people from a wide variety of backgrounds and interests. Each year, members of the Society receive:

  • Two issues of the Society's journal Chronology and Catastrophism Review, a twice-yearly high quality journal.

  • Two issues of SIS Internet Digest, a twice-yearly publication summarising Web sites and news of interest to members.

  • The opportunity to buy back issues of Chronology and Catastrophism Workshop, (now merged with the Review).

  • Access to the SIS Book Service offering many interesting publications and journals and also back issues of the Review and Workshop.

  • The opportunity to attend Society events including conferences and study groups, with notable speakers.

  • The opportunity to attend the Society's Annual General Meeting.
