It’s a new dawn, it’s a new day, it’s a new Juno Award season—and Michael Bublé is feeling good.
The Burnaby-born superstar has been announced as the host (as well as a performer!) for the 2025 Juno Awards in Vancouver, marking his third time steering Canada’s biggest night in music. With 15 Junos already under his belt, Bublé will bring his signature charisma back to his hometown stage on March 30 at Rogers Arena.
Between his globally-adored crooner hits and his unmistakable pride for Vancouver, Bublé is something of the perfect choice to host this celebration of Canadian music. The ceremony caps off a busy year for the singer, which included becoming The Voice's first Canadian judge, wheelchair curling old chum with Prince Harry, and releasing new Christmas music.
The evening is sure to be a great one. Pop-punk legends Sum 41 will be inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, and Live Nation Canada’s Riley O’Connor will receive the Walt Grealis Special Achievement Award. Adding to the buzz, Junofest will turn Vancouver into a citywide concert leading up to the awards, with performances from local artists and 2025 nominees.
It’s great that streaming has made international music so widely available, but it’s also important to champion our homegrown talent. The Junos aren’t just an awards show—they’re a chance to remind Canadian musical artists that we still love them the most.
