Four Winds Brewing Co., a beloved name in BC’s craft beer scene, has opened its newest location in the heart of Southlands, Tsawwassen. The new venue, known as the Beach House & Brewery, is set to become a vibrant community hub, offering a unique blend of modern beer-hall vibes and West Coast bistro charm.

Founded in 2012 by the Mills family—brothers Brent, Sean, and Adam, and their father Greg—Four Winds Brewing Co. has grown from a small family venture into an award-winning brewery celebrated for its innovative brews. The decision to open a location in Southlands reflects the family’s deep roots in the area and their vision of creating a space that brings the community together.

The Southlands area, developed by Century Group, represents a unique blend of city and country living. Rooted in agricultural traditions, the community is designed to offer the best of both worlds. It combines the convenience of modern urban living with the charm and tranquility of beach-town living. With its focus on sustainability and local agriculture, Southlands is home to farmers’ markets, community gardens, and expansive green spaces, making it an ideal location for a community-centric brewery like Four Winds.

“We wanted to create something fun, lively, and culturally significant for Tsawwassen,” says Adam Mills, who oversees brand development for Four Winds. “Southlands, with its focus on agriculture and community, offered the perfect setting for this new chapter.”

The Beach House & Brewery is not just a place to enjoy great beer; it’s designed to be a gathering spot for the community. The building’s design, inspired by traditional farm structures and Scandinavian farmhouse aesthetics, fits seamlessly into the Southlands landscape. Inside, natural earth tones and nautical elements create a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it a welcoming space year-round.

“We’re excited to connect with the community through this new space,” says Mills. “The architecture reflects the agricultural roots of the area, while the interior design brings in elements that tie back to our nautical origins.”

The new location offers a culinary experience that complements its renowned beers. The menu at the Beach House & Brewery features a West Coast bistro vibe, with an emphasis on fresh, local ingredients. Seafood dishes, such as oysters, clams, and mussels, are highlights, alongside farm-fresh vegetables sourced from nearby farms.

“Our menu here is a departure from our other location,” explains Mills. “We wanted to create something that showcases the best of the Pacific Northwest, with a focus on quality ingredients and a West Coast twist.”

In addition to its food offerings, the Beach House & Brewery will soon feature new, small-batch beers brewed onsite. These include Czech-style lagers, German ales, and experimental brews that reflect the creativity and innovation that Four Winds is known for.

As Four Winds settles into its new home in Southlands, the family envisions the Beach House & Brewery becoming a long-term fixture in the community. They hope it will serve as both a local gathering spot and a destination for visitors looking to experience the best of Tsawwassen.

“We’re passionate about this project,” says Mills. “We want to provide a beautiful establishment that the community can be proud of, and we’re committed to making this a place where people come together for years to come.”

Four Winds Brewing Co.’s new Beach House & Brewery in Southlands is more than just a new location—it’s a celebration of community, craft, and the unique character of Tsawwassen. With its thoughtfully designed space, innovative beers, and commitment to local ingredients, it’s set to become a beloved destination in the region.

The Four Winds Beach House & Brewery is located at 6350 Market Avenue, Delta.
