Tualeti paraqet kthinën ose dhomën kushtuar diskrecionit dhe intimitetit të momentit të lehtësimit të nevojave fiziologjike (trupore).

Përmbledhje

Tualetet me shpëlarje përdorin ujë, ndërsa tualetet e thata ose pa ujë jo. Ato mund të dizajnohen për një pozicion ulur të popullarizuar në Evropë dhe Amerikën e Veriut me një ndenjëse tualeti, me konsiderata shtesë për ata me aftësi të kufizuara, ose për një qëndrim të ulur më të popullarizuar në Azi.

Në zonat urbane, tualetet me ujë zakonisht lidhen me një sistem kanalizimi që çon në gropa septike në zona të izoluara. Mbetjet njihen si ujërat e zeza dhe efluenti i kombinuar duke përfshirë burime të tjera janë ujërat e zeza . Tualetet e thata janë të lidhura me një gropë, enë të lëvizshme, dhomë kompostimi ose pajisje të tjera ruajtjeje dhe trajtimi, duke përfshirë devijimin e urinës me një tualet devijues të urinës.
