As a new comer to their software. I find it very well packed with software, and pretty easy to use.. But their support is very poor.. I can not log into the forums via google chrome or their installed browser. I but in a bug report and still have not received a response.. Any good OS distribution needs to have a good support system to be successful. If it does not, then it is not worth even installing.. I will give it a few more days of testing, and see if I get a response about my concerns.. Or I just will dump it all together. Edit. Their support team reached out, and claim, their site is going through upgrades and other changes.. So that is a plus.. We shall see in time if it actually lets me log into their site or not. So for now I give them 3 stars on the support. Other than that Deepin 23 is my daily and I'm really loving the whole experience. Edit 2. Their support reached out again, and provided me with the necessary steps to solve the issue of not being able to log into the community forum. All I had to do was edit the host file in /etc to include their host information..

Great distro!

I've tried a lot of distro's and this has been hands down the best. Great fresh look, my computer flies and has no hiccups. I am very impressed.

I am a silver surfer,changed from windows to Linux Mint 8yrs ago ,thought this was super but Deepin beats it hands down,thankyou to the creators.

I have tried various open source OS this one to me is by far the best with Mint coming second

Fantastic on every sides !!

After I decided to install Linux in my old Macbook I tried at least a 15 distros (Fedora 23, openSUSE Leap, Sparky, Mint 17.3, LMDE, Neptune, Deepin 15 and many more) and less than 5 installed smoothly and without problems. Of those that were easy to install Deepin top them in regard to easy to use and outstanding performance for being ran in a very old machine.

Update 3: Wow! This Distro really proved me wrong. After using it for a while longer, everything is easy and great! This is the best distribution I've ever used! I hope it gets updated again in 2015!

The most wonderful Linux distribution

hi, I see a review Deepin Linux 2014 on youtube. I see why there are no settings for the Dock. while not release :) I would like to add a suggestion for setting the size, layout, etc. to the Dock. That gives comfort to the user screen resolution of small, so it does not look full. But having said that, I really like the latest look for Linux Deepin 2014, as inspired by the concept of combining the MacOS UI and Windows 8, but I believe this is the idea of ​​the original appearance of the Deepin Linux developers. I really can not wait for the final version, and immediately put on the computer I owned. Success always for Linux Deepin. Sorry for my english I'm a bit stiff, :) Regards. Mashudi

Deepin 12.06 was spectacular. Small footprint and light ram usage, fast, good looking and just very nice to use. Deepin 12:12 on the other hand has taken several huge steps backwards, especially in it's presentation which is bland and is also heavier on resources. 12.06 = 5 stars 12.12 = 2.5 stars
