2024 review: Well, the app got better, then it got worse. For a couple weeks now, it won't show any images whatsoever, just text. Often I'll be scrolling through a list, and it will claim no internet connection, and then reset. I enjoy my pickup experiences at my local store, but app is awful. They break it. 2020 review: It is very slow all the time, the back button doesn't work intuitively, the coupon function has now been destroyed, as well as the shopping list. Terrible app. Terrible design.

This app has been getting worse and worse. Sponsored suggestions take up have the screen now. Scrolling through previous purchase in an exercise in tedium as I have to press 'more' every 30 items, while the sponsors suggestions take up most of my screen space. And if I go to look at an item or a coupon, it resets everything back to only the top 30 items. This is beyond annoying and true enshitification of a formerly okay but not great app

This app is comparable to its peers. However, while CVS, Shaws, Star Market, Winn Dixie, and Publics have all managed to cobble together mostly functional apps, the app from Stop&Shop fails to function most of the time. Sometimes my Go points show up, sometimes not. More then half the time, I cannot read their weekly ad. I go to look at their coupons and see an empty list with a note about "having technical difficulties at this time, try again later". Promotional emails never arrive...
