The amount of AI photos and half of all search/related posts being direct links to purchasing websites kills every instance I decide to use this app. I want to be able to click on a post and not get forcefully redirected to amazon or walmart. Especially since the picture on the ad rarely ever actually correlates to what's being sold. Any kind of character art I look to for inspiration is completely dominated by the AI images flooding the platform. An incredibly unpleasant app experience.

I love the free crochet patterns and the ideas Pinterest provides. I just wish they wouldn't allow the AI generated pictures. And every pattern, without fail, is so full of ads that I can hardly read the patterns. Putting "Free" in the search parameters doesn't mean you will get just the free patterns.

The app used to be really good, but the issues have gotten so bad I can't ignore them anymore. There are way too many ads and I get about four ads with every 4 pins I see (not exaggerating). Also, this site is overflowing with ai generated images. Fake art, fake figures, fake plants?? If I'm trying to look for real images to get inspiration and ideas from, I don't want to see ai!! Also, I get false violations over pins every day and can't appeal them. Don't use it until something changes.
