Nearly perfect, but their algorithm, no matter how well thought out, severely limits replayability. If early on you make the best possible game, it's a nightmare to make good games again. It "sets the bar" for good games and you have to top it. This sucks when you spend the time to get good at the game only to have it punish you. There's no sense of "I finally figured out the game!" Instead, you just get confused why everything you learned stops working next playthrough. The algorithm is bad.

Truly an amazing game! So many different combinations to choose from, it ensures every playthrough is unique. The game has a fair share of trail and error, but it's fun discovering the combinations and what does and doesn't work well. My biggest gripe is the sequel system, I'd prefer to be able to put my games into 'series' and have spinoffs that aren't necessarily sequels (and have them grouped as a series on my game overview). The game timeline menu could use an overhaul regardless.

I'm a simulation lover. I've just made it to the first business upgrade lvl. This is a simple game in appearance only. Being a game developer isn't as easy as making characters and building a castle..this game is nuanced so that you need to pay attention. Taking notes couldn't hurt. I love the challenge and the 'puzzle' of becoming successful. Great game! I'm looking forward to seeing how far I can grow.
