For the record, lavender essential oil works wonders for burns. Miracles, actually. I spilled hot soap (I was making soap and messed up when pouring it into the mold) on one of my fingers a couple of years ago and the blister was BAD. It ballooned up to about 1/4 inch tall and I had to use one of the special blister bandages that feels almost like rubber skin and seals it airtight for several day. I put a bunch of lavender oil on before sealing it up and then every day after removing the bandage and I don&#39;t even have a scar.
