A special Don’t Dillydally bulletin: John Derian’s back with a new Thanksgiving collection for Target. You might remember last year’s beaded turkey pillow (which now goes for $350 on eBay) and melamine plates. This year, there’s another beaded turkey pillow, plus plenty more from the king of découpage, including everything from dessert plates to butter dishes printed with his signature Alice in Wonderland–like animals and trompe l’oeil vegetables. And while a John Derian original might cost you a pretty penny, most of the collection is under $30. It officially goes live on October 13. In the meantime, I did the window-shopping for you and picked out some highlights, including a dupe for a Bordallo Pinheiro artichoke, asparagus candles, and a straight-out-of-a-swamp mushroom cordless lamp. Take it from me, someone who snagged the highly coveted beaded turkey last year: It’s all going to go quickly. Don’t dilly … well, you get the point by now.
