Morrison Foerster received “Mansfield Certification Plus” recognition for 2024, joining a select group of firms to receive the honor every year since Diversity Lab’s launch of the Mansfield Rule in 2017.

To maintain its effectiveness, the certification standards continue to evolve based on data-backed insights.

To achieve Mansfield Certification, law firms and legal departments increase transparency and clarity regarding opportunities. They articulate and internally publish job descriptions, expectations, and promotional paths. This greater transparency helps level the playing field for all.

Mansfield Certification Plus recognition highlights firms that have consistently committed themselves to the core principles of transparency, accountability, and the sharing of knowledge. Achieving Mansfield Certification Plus status for seven years in a row is a clear demonstration of MoFo’s sustained commitment to putting our values into action.
