Overview[]
Magnemo is a Japanese term referring to a genre of Takara toys using magnets as connection balljoints and serving as a gimmick for interchangeable parts and moving action. Its structure can increase the magnetic flux density and improve the attraction force as compared with a single permanent magnet. By applying this principle, Takara succeeded in commercializing the product by expressing a stronger attractive force that is more stable than the attractive force of the ferrite magnet used in the first stages. The parts are interchangeable as long as the parts magenemo matches the balljoint's diameter.
