Gronwall's Theorem

GronwallsTheorem

Let sigma(n) be the divisor function. Then

 limsup_(n->infty)(sigma(n))/(nlnlnn)=e^gamma,

where gamma is the Euler-Mascheroni constant. Ramanujan independently discovered a less precise version of this theorem (Berndt 1985).
