'Arrested Development' Banana Stands Make Global Cameos

To generate even more buzz around its highly-anticipated return, Arrested Development is setting up frozen banana stands in London, New York and Los Angeles.

That's right, fans of the popular TV show -- which will return exclusively to Netflix on May 26, following years of of discontinuation -- can pose in front of or inside the pop-up Bluth's Original Frozen Banana.

The Bluth family business circulates around the frozen banana stand. The homage was first spotted near the Tower of London on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the Bluths opened a #bananastand in Wee Britain. Actually, it was real Britain. twitter.com/arresteddev/st…— Arrested Development (@arresteddev) May 8, 2013

The Arrested Development team will be tweeting the location of the stand as it makes guest appearances around the cities.

For a mental refresher, here's a clip of character George-Michael Bluth (played by Michael Cera) running the stand.

Netflix has also been teasing the show's return with posters that include references and jokes from the series.
