Making An Impact
Every Auburn graduate has a story to tell. A campus memory to share. An experience on the Plains they’ll never forget. Whatever a student aspires to be, it all starts here. At Auburn, we roll up our sleeves and put knowledge to work, hard work. We don’t back down from challenges. We meet them with a groundbreaking spirit that’s not afraid. We are the Auburn Family.
Whether they hail from Alabama, out-of-state or from across the world, Auburn graduates have notable paths to the Plains. Take Auburn Graduate School’s Guy Biessan who traveled all the way from West Africa to pursue his PhD in civil & environmental engineering. And Auburn’s Whitney Lee, a local graduate determined to help communities thrive with her master’s in community planning. Then, there’s Florida’s Aubrey Miles, ready to take on world with her bachelor’s in psychology. Auburn University President Christopher Roberts sits down on Samford Hall lawn to chat with these outstanding graduates about their Auburn journey and what’s next after they walk across the stage.
When Felix Mendoza-Suarez began his Ph.D. program in Auburn’s Department of Chemical Engineering, his professor gave him the creative freedom to pursue new research. Now, he's taking those learning experiences into his professional career to build a better world.
