The Wrath of Karasumori (烏森の怒り, Karasumori no Ikari) is the 145th chapter of the Kekkaishi Manga written and illustrated by Yellow Tanabe.
Summary[]
Okuni watches as Kurokabuto's katana drills a large hole into Karasumori, inwardly admitting that she underestimated the site's capabilities. She is amazed by the idea that Karasumori could possibly be a man-made phenomenon. Yoshimori can't understand why Kurokabuto would attack Karasumori when it was sharing its power with it. Karasumori's power reemerges, this time lancing into Kurokabuto violently and causing it to collapse in pieces. Yoshimori is again surrounded by Karasumori's power, and realizes that Karasumori wants him to destroy Kurokabuto with its power. Yoshimori becomes furious at the idea of being toyed with, and the power retreats. Tokiko Yukimura and Shigemori Sumimura begin collecting Kurokabuto's remains with Tenketsu. Reiji Kakushino watches as Shigemori asks Yoshimori what happened. Yoshimori says he angered Karasumori, and suddenly remembers Tokine.
Reiji retreats to his private dimension, confused over Kurokabuto's failure. He is thankful that Tokine is still a hostage in his dimension, but regrets imprisoning her where he did, as he can no longer safely reach his Ayakashi. Meanwhile, Tokine has managed to phase her way into a room alongside the main chamber, despite numerous talismans placed along the dimension's walls. Shocked and desperate, Reiji prepares for her arrival. Tokine phases into the chamber, but Reiji is gone. She studies the gateways along the wall, but doesn't notice an additional one placed on a screen behind her.
At Karasumori, the Kekkaishi, Miki Hatori, and Higurashi gather to study one of the remaining boxes. Yoshimori tries to explain that Tokine vanished into one, but is too frantic for Tokiko to understand entirely. Tokine unexpectedly appears behind them, and Yoshimori immediately worries that she may have been harmed. After assuring him that she is fine, Tokine explains that she was chasing the box culprit. Okuni says she now has a good grasp of the situation, and a better understanding of how dangerous and problematic Karasumori is.
