Fighting Alone (孤軍, Kogun) is the 105th chapter of the Kekkaishi Manga written and illustrated by Yellow Tanabe.
Summary[]
Hekian and Koshu discuss Yoshimori. Hekian admits that controlling him will be difficult. Koshu is concerned only with maintaining the castle's structure.
Shion attempts to weaken Yoshimoriby slowly lowering a boulder onto his back, but her Spider Goons accidentally drop it on him. Shion finally tries to reason with Yoshimori, explaining that all they want is for him to fix their castle. She admits the only reason she joined Kokuboro is because the castle suited her. Suddenly, Kagami and Heisuke Matsudo crash through the roof, startling the Spider Goons. Shion is shocked to see him alive, and orders her Spider Goons to attack. Kagami easily begins destroying them, and rather than fight, Shion decides to flee. Matsudo introduces himself to Yoshimori, correctly guessing that he was brought to repair the castle. He offers to free Yoshimori, but only if leaves the castle at once. Yoshimori turns down the offer because he can eventually escape on his own, and has someone he wants to defeat. Matsudo demands to know who, because he wants to defeat Byaku and will allow no one else to. Yoshimori admits he wants to defeat Kaguro, so Matsudo alters his offer: he will free Yoshimori so long as they agree not to harm each other's targets. Yoshimori agrees and is released, leaving Kokuboro's forces to deal with two separate threats running loose in the castle.
