My name is Fabian Jakobs. I’m working for ajax.org as JavaScript developer on Cloud9 – the web based JavaScript IDE. As part of Cloud9 I have written Ace (ajax.org Cloud9 editor) an open source code editor, which runs completely in the browser.

Previously I have worked at 1&1 for the JavaScript RIA framework qooxdoo. My passion is to push the boundaries of browser and open web technologies as application platform.
