Node docs allow you to use
||
in dependencies, and in our case here, engines field in package.json.If you have a semver range such as
>=8 <=12 || >= 14
it should exclude 13 and either you need Node v8 to 12 or Node v14+.https://docs.npmjs.com/cli/v8/configuring-npm/package-json#dependencies
This project does not support the use of
||
