I still don't understand how to identify a firmware type. Its not something I can see on the "Gateway" tab.
Because of that, I first considered the already installed firmware as a "type 2", and tried to use AutoFlashGUI (generic config). All commands seem to have executed properly, but it simply killed the ssh server I enabled on the "advanced options" menu, and after rebooting the password for root wasn't root.
Trying to flash the DANT-7 firmware available (DANT-8 is not a .rbi), with AutoFlashGUI, it just simply errored out the first time, and the second time i tried it said "Modem reports flashing commenced successfully" (which it didn't) and after that proceeded to try again to root (which also failed). Flashing from webUI the same .rbi fails with errorcode: 4

Did anybody ever manage to get root on that device already?
