Did anybody ever manage to get root on that device already?

Regarding the root strategy, I have no idea how the person did it. This specific post on a Swedish forum appears to talk about getting (what seems to be) root access, evident by the available options in the images. However, this was on version 18.3, board revision VANT-W.

I've tried:

• SSH/telnet via WAN port - no port apart from 80/8080 are open
• tch-exploit-win - Appears to be patched on this version. Looking at the traffic, it gets a DHCP address, and tries pinging DNS servers, but never gets past this
• Booting into Bank 2 - Bank 2 and Bank 1 hold identical firmwares.
• Samba exploit - patched
