Between the Stud Beauty Product Bathroom Storage

I have been in the process of remodeling my primary bathroom for awhile now and I can’t wait to share with you guys when I FINALLY get it all finished!  Today, I’m sharing a little sneak peek  with my between the stud beauty product bathroom storage that I created next to my vanity that has been a game changer for me! I’m a beauty product hoarder and this floor-to-ceiling cabinet is a FANTASTIC option if you’re a product geek like me and need more storage in your bathroom.

One of my biggest frustrations when it comes to standard bathroom vanity drawer storage is that you have to dig/pull out products to see exactly what they are because you’re looking down at the top/lids of the products in drawers and you have to stack everything on top of each other.  I wanted to be able to see the labels on the products without pulling out or digging when I open a cabinet next to my vanity when I’m getting ready.  A cabinet for beauty products is far more user friendly AND you can really pack in so much!

I worked with a local cabinet maker to build/install the cabinet and I wanted it to have adjustable storage (with tons of extra shelves) so that I could adjust shelving to really maximize the space.

The adjustable shelves give me the option that I needed to create shelves for taller products like shampoos, lotions, hand soaps and all my skin care. So I group products by what they are are size and I adjust the shelve accordingly.

The dimensions of the inside of my cabinet (width-wise) is 12-1/4th” and the depth is about 3-1/4th”. My cabinet is inset, so I lose an inch in depth because the door can closes on the inside with inset doors.  The sizing is just PERFECT for storing all those beauty products and as you can see, it holds a lot!!

For some of the little products, I added storage pieces like this container below to hold all of my little travel Fresh products.

For tubes of concealer, I used just clear plastic storage jars.

You don’t have to wait until you do a bathroom remodel if you want to create your own between stud cabinet storage. You can do it at anytime.  If you have the room for the cabinet, you can either do-it-yourself (if you’re really handy) or you can call your local cabinet maker to do it for you.  Most cabinet makers will not only make your cabinet to specifications but they’ll also (for a fee) open up your wall between the studs and install cabinetry and frame it out. They will also make your shelves as well.

If you want to do-it-yourself, there is a huge selection of pre-made in-between-the stud cabinets available online. All you need to do is search “in between the stud cabinet” in Google shopping and you can look through all the different options to find the style that best fits your needs. For example, Home Depot has a lot of different options and his recessed medicine cabinet below with glass shelves is very similar to mine.

I am so excited about my beauty cabinet and by moving all of that product from my vanity to the wall cabinet has freed up so much space in my vanity, which is so nice.
