Regarding the above M1–M5 receptor agonist/antagonist category requests

I carefully checked all the ligands to ensure that they indeed fall into the requested categories. I used the individual receptor page (M1, M2, M3, M4, M5) ligand sections for this among other sources. Just wanted to note that if there is uncertainty about fulfilling the category requests.   •   Comment: Hi User:Eejit43. Thanks for reviewing this category request and fulfilling some of the others. Lisuride is widely described as non-hallucinogenic in the literature. Here's one source: "For the ergoline derivatives, both 2-Br-LSD (68, Figure 9) and lisuride (71, Figure 9) have been demonstrated to be nonhallucinogenic, [...]" (Duan et al., 2023). I'll add it to the article. Edit/update: Looks like this was actually in the article already: "While lisuride has a similar receptor binding profile to the more well-known and chemically similar ergoline lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD; N,N-diethyllysergamide) and acts as a partial agonist of the serotonin 5-HT2A receptor likewise,[6] it lacks the psychedelic effects of LSD.[1]" In any case, I added the above ref and the word "non-hallucinogenic" there as well. – 76.174.0.57 (talk) 04:40, 24 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

(I want to preface this by saying that I apologize; I don't really understand what this comment means. I hope my reply below is relevant to what this comment means.)
I do understand that there is a list, but the list is not complete. There are 500 songs included in the overall RS article, and the list included on Wikipedia is truncated and only includes the top 10.
In addition, Rolling Stone has released numerous iterations of the list (one in 2004, 2010, 2021, and 2024) – and each iteration has had new songs included and others removed, meaning that, at least in my estimation, there are over 600 songs with Wikipedia articles that would be eligible for a designation as a RS 500 Greatest Songs of All Time inclusion that might not be appropriate inclusions on the article discussing the list. (I've also noticed that, at least to my knowledge, every single Wikipedia article for a song that has ever been included on the list, including those that have been removed from future iterations (like American Idiot (song) and Me and Bobby McGee), has mentioned its inclusion on the list.) Thank you! I left a talk page message on Wikipedia:WikiProject Music's talk page to prompt further discussion, although I don't want to get too ahead of myself in case the category's creation is denied.
One thing I did kind-of consider in hindsight, though, is that I think it might be better to change the name of each category to remove the word "inclusions" at the end, as the word seems a little superfluous. (Including the word "inclusions" in the article's name might also preclude any articles pertaining to meta-discussion of each list from being included, like the namesake articles for Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time and the equivalent article for songs.) The articles might be more appropriately named after each list without the word "inclusions" at all. If you don't mind me asking, do you have any thoughts on that? It is definitely possible to change the name, you can simply edit this section and change the header and the content of the categorytree tag.
I think the proposed name is fine, as otherwise it doesn't fully explain what the categorized article's relation to the chart is. I can't find any similar categories to compare the naming too, which is something I'll mention at WT:WPMUSIC ~ Eejit43 (talk) 00:33, 2 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I left a similar comment above re: the 500 Greatest Songs of All Time list. There are 500 albums included in the overall RS article. I looked at the page for Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time, and there is not actually a list there.
In addition, there have been numerous iterations of the list (to my knowledge, one in 2003, 2012, 2020, and 2023), and each iteration has had new albums included and removed. Similarly, given that there are (likely) over 600 albums with Wikipedia articles that would be eligible to be included within the category and it would not be appropriate to include them on the article discussing the list (especially given that the article does not currently contain any lists), I think this category will serve a function that the article cannot and presumably should not.
