CAIRO, October 1, 2023: Zamalek team achieved an important 4-1 victory over Arta Solar of Djibouti 4-1 in the match that brought them together on Saturday evening, at Cairo International Stadium, in the second leg of the 32nd round of the African Confederation Cup.
With this result, Zamalek qualifies for the African Confederation Group stage, after winning 4/3 on aggregate in the home and away matches.
Zamalek lost to Arta Solar of Djibouti, 2-0, at Azzam Stadium in Tanzania, in the first leg.
Arsama Hassan scored the first goal for Arta Solar in the 16th minute, then Youssef Obama scored the equalizer in the 50th minute, in the 52nd minute Shikabala scored the second goal, and Zizou scored the third goal in the 74th minute, before Hamza Mathlouthi scored the fourth goal in the 89th minute.
The Zamalek formation included: Goalkeeper: Mohamed Awad, Defense line: Ahmed Fattouh - Mustafa El-Zenari - Hamza Mathlouthi - Omar Gaber, Midfield: Nabil Imad Dunga - Ahmed Sayed “Zizou” - Mahmoud Abdel Razek “Shikabala”, Offensive line: Saif Al-Jaziri - Nasser Mansi - Mustafa Shalabi.
On the bench: Mohamed Sobhi, Mohamed Abdel Ghani, Hossam Abdel Majeed, Mohamed Tariq, Mohamed Abdel Shafi, Mohamed Ashraf Rouqa, Sayed Abdullah “Neymar”, Youssef Obama, and Ibrahima Ndiaye.
