About Croatia

In light of the increased flows of migrants in the period from 16 September 2015 to 5 March 2016, IOM Croatia started to implement DTM to provide regularly updated data on the countries of origin, gender, age, routes, cost of travel, and problems encountered in their origin country and along the route. Additional information collected aimed at detecting human trafficking, GBV, and other protection concerns amongst vulnerable migrants, asylum seekers and refugees.
