It’s Time…. It’s Time….

For so many years i have had such wonderful support

from friends and people all over the world.

Who would have thought in 2005 when i picked up my

first real bead that i would be where I am today.

I sure didn’t.

It all started with simple stringing gem chips on a tigertail

cos that was the cool thing to do, and i love the aspect

of the healing properties of crystals.

From there i went onto wire work and other stringing ideas,

to today where i am totally in love ♥

absorbed with the incy wincy tiny

seed beads!

It’s a tad hot!

Today has been so hot, I spent the day with a wonderful friend.

We had chinese, swam in her pool, and set up her blog.

She has a gorgeous unit at Port Douglas: Reef Club Resort.

It was nice to spend the day with a friend, when today was one of those end of era days.

Family had a clearance sale on the farm for our Gorgeous Uncle Owen.

Another step, one that well basically wish didn’t have to happen. But…..

as they say life goes on!

I have been trying to get myself into beading again. I have done a few more swirl cuffs.

My exciting piece is another pandora style bracelet. I really love making these:

I will post a picture of my new one as soon as it is finished.

I am looking at experimenting with these a bit more and change the style and colour.

I also got to make this gorgeous bracelet with some hand made lampwork beads.

A very gorgeous friend in Queensland made these beads, i just really love to work with

her beads.

I was busy prior to Christmas making my impression of a pandora:

I made this one for my special friend in Queensland.

And this was my Aunty’s Christmas present; she requested

a bracelet this year 🙂

Well this is me for the day.

Hope you have had a lovely day and haven’t melted like we have.

Take care

Been awhile:

After a very  trying and hard year, turning the dreaded 40, lossing some one I love dearly,I think it is about time that I got back into some beading.

I have done bits and pieces here and there. But I have not done anything that really challenges me, pushes my boundaries gets the ole grey matter work hard.

To get my juices and motivation flowing, i chose a few projects out of one of my  favourite magazine.

I also got into using one of my not so favourite stitches, ‘Peyote’.

I have not been a big fan of the stitch but, hey over the past week i have begun to enjoy the stitch! I am Amazed!!

So here is a preview of my what I did.

I love the effect the blues have, so many depths. Really keeps your eye travelling around exploring.

I have also done this in green and creams.

Well I do hope you have enjoyed looking at my new pieces.

I have enjoyed making them so much I am trying out lots of

different colour combinations!

Thanks for dropping by
