while the tracks in Breath of the Wild you hear the most often aren't as distinct and iconic as older titles, they are much more suited to an open-world game in my opinion. they're songs that comfort you, even when hearing them for hundreds of hours. Breath of the Wild has the best ambience out of any Zelda game by far.

Contrary to popular belief (as expressed by several comments here), the silence in the main theme around the 1-minute mark is an intentional part of the composition and not a glitch. It also appears in the credits theme and symbolizes Link's first breath after a hundred years of sleep. The composer talked a bit about the main theme in Nintendo's Japanese Zelda blog shortly after the game's release.

I never realized how much remixing nintendo did to the music of the Zelda series from Zelda 1 to BotW then there are just some original songs here and there

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a gorgeous game on all fronts, especially with the music. The ambience and serenity of the game itself is carried through the music and almost every piece is beautiful. The composers who worked on this game did a phenomenal job remixing classic Zelda leitmotifs and creating the new music found in this game. Some of my personal favorites include the House theme, Windblight Ganon, Rito Village, Hyrule Castle exterior, Sidon's theme, Kass's theme, and Dark Beast Ganon. Recently, the soundtrack for this game has seen an overhaul on this website and I have mixed feelings on it. Overall, the quality of all the pieces is much higher than they were previously and now you can actually hear pieces such as Hyrule Castle and Dark Beast Ganon. However, it seems that many pieces have been removed from the list since the update? In particular the individual Champion themes and Life in Ruins appear to be absent

If it's not too much to ask, could you add the music when the champions and their divine beasts attack Gannon? Because that would be awesome! :)
Did you know there is a glitch in the Main theme about 1:00 in?
The thing that's missing (unless I missed it) is the Hyrule Castle full channel mix. All the separate songs are there, however I don't see the mixed one. PLEASE ADD THIS!
The previous version that was on here was better then the current one that replaced it.

One of the best soundtracks to go along with one of the best games. However, the volume on each song is different, and it would be great if you could reupload it and fix that. Other than that, amazing job!
Unfortunately, Sidon theme is only 1:23, but other than that, perfect
7 because there are too many differences in volume on the tracks. I turn the speakers up for one song, just to get blared on the next. please re-upload if possible
i'm not sure why the volume on the tracks is so drastic. great music, but very confusing aspect.

It's great to see this game's soundtrack on this website. It would make sense why it took this long because of the recent DLC's released and the fact that there is a lot of tracks in the entire game, where Super Mario Odyssey was put up about a month after its release. Great game and great music. Also the fact it was put up a year after the initial release of both the console and game makes it a bit funny. "Coincidence? I think not."
This video game and its soundtrack are amazing.
I've yet to see such a complete selection of the soundtrack anywhere else. However, not every track has the same quality. Some tracks are very quiet compared to other tracks. I haven't checked all of them, but mainly the ganonblight bosstracks and Riju's theme stand out for this. The latter one is barely audible.
Finally I've been waiting for this thank u so much for adding this :)
First! But man, I gotta ask; how long did it take you to upload all these songs? I would bet at least two days.
