Surrender in Deed Law and Legal Definition
Surrender in deed is a surrender effected by means of a deed from the surrenderer to the surrenderee. A surrender in deed will be by express words in writing, where the words of the lessee to the lessor prove a sufficient assent. [Ex parte Norris, 8 S.C. 408 (S.C. 1877)].
