November 25, 2024Doctoral student David Wan was awarded a 2024 Google PhD Fellowship in natural language processing. The fellowship covers up to three years of tuition and fees, plus a stipend to be used for living expenses, travel, and personal equipment.

October 31, 2024Doctoral student Basar Demir won the Best Oral Presentation award at the 2024 Workshop for Biomedical Image Registration (WBIR), held during the MICCAI conference. Demir presented an approach to train a generalizable deep registration network that works within and across image modalities.
