Well, suppose Othello is a really fair game=if you play white or if you play black perfectly, you should just DRAW.
Many strong programmers now suspect that Othello's theorical value is 0 after diagonal or perpendicular opening.

In this file, every line ends in a DRAW which has been proven for sure.
