NABCEP to Seek Public Comment on System Inspector Credential
NABCEP has received funding from the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) to develop a system inspector credential for PV and Solar Heating technologies. Within the next few weeks, we will be releasing a survey requesting public comment on the development of this credential.

Empirically Derived Strength of Residential Roof Structures for Solar Installations �

Researchers at Sandia National Laboratories (SNL) conducted a study funded by the U.S. Department of Energy's Solar Energy Technologies Office SunShot Initiative to help dispel misperceptions that many existing rooftops cannot carry the actual load created by rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) installations.
