Google has finally launched Google eBook Store, it was known as Google Editions till now. eBook Store is only available in United States right now, but the international launch is on cards for the next year.
Google has also released the Android application to access the eBooks on the go. All the Android phones running on Android 2.1 or above can install the application, but it is also available in US only right now.
Google eBooks is also compatible with any dedicated ebook reader that supports the Adobe eBook platform, including the Barnes & Noble Nook and Reader from Sony.
Google eBooks features about 3 million titles for free and hundreds of thousands for purchase. Company has partnered with 4000 book publishers for the job.
