Great Drills With Long Lasting Batteries

I'm not a drill expert but I do know there are major differences between a Milwaukee drill and a Ryobi drill. The difference that made the decision for me was price. I'm not a builder so I didn't need a drill that would take the assault of a nuclear bomb and keep on ticking. But, I do appreciate great quality and I didn't want to buy a cheap drill either.

These drills are very powerful and you can feel the torque when you release the trigger. There's a jerking action that kicks the drill to the side. You can truly feel the power.

I've used both drills and the batteries charge fast and stay charged for a longgggggg time. We've used them to assemble a ton of Ikea pieces(and you know how many pieces there are" and the batteries never died or became week.

A big plus is that it comes with two batteries and if you've ever seen the price of lithium batteries or you've had one battery go dead you'll appreciate the extra battery.

I love these drills and would highly recommend them.

Well worth the price for what is advertised; but you get what you pay for. The tools work perfectly well for around the house stuff though they "feel" a little cheap due to the materials. The battery charges quickly and keeps the charge long enough to do the job. The charger is "smart" so it wont ruin the battery if you leave it in too long. As I said, worth the price but if you are doing more than working around the house or fixing a deck you may want to invest a bit more and get contractor-level tools.

This is an awesome drill set and an awesome gift for newlyweds or for a house warming gift! My brother bought purchased this as a wedding gift to me and we love it! The battery life is unbelievable and the bag makes storage a breeze in our small city apartment. Very powerful, user-friendly drill set. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the market!

Don't bash Ryobi untill you give it a try.

I have always been a DeWalt and Milwaukee tool fan so when I purchased this Ryobi set, I was a bit apprehensive. The price for this 18 volt drill and impact driver set was too resistible for me to pass up as the former mentioned tool brands would have been at least twice as much.
This driver set performs well and battery life is very good. They are well balanced due to the low profile of the battery. The charger keeps the batteries at their optimum even if they are not fully discharged.
I only have two gripes. First, the drill brake is much to abrupt. Stopping the chuck to fast allows the bit to loosen in the chuck no matter how tight you try to get it. Very annoying and time consuming when you have to retighten the bit every time you let off the trigger. The other gripe is just really a preference. I really would rather have a hard case instead of a soft bag to put these tools in. The tend to end up on their sides and dislodged where as a hard case keeps them in their place and adds more protection on the job site.
I get ribbed for buying Ryobi from my coworkers but they still ask to borrow them and don't complain. I highly recommend this set to any homeowner that needs to get that DYI project done around the house. For the value, you wont be sorry.

Works very well for light duty. The drill is always one of my go to for light renovation and around the house projects. The impact driver is really solid. Not as good as some others I have used from contractor friends but I don't really need that grade and expense. This fits the bill and have used it for setting long hex bolts without issue. This package is great for the weekend DIYer.

i saw the item description, i was so excited to get the package. I live in lebanon, i bought it online and waited for one month to recieve the package .
when i opened the box i discovered that the bag only contain the drill and the charger, there was no batteries nor the impact drill.
i send a message to the seller and responded that it was written that this item only contain one drill and the charger i looked back to find where the sentence is written i cannot find it the only thing i found is that the package contain 2 batteries 2 drills and one charger!!!
so i waited one month in lebanon for nothing!

Advertised 1500 inch pounds of torque or 125 foot pounds but can't break loose my 80 foot pound lug nuts?

Must have for any homeowner

I can't state how much better lipo powered tools are. They charge fast last longer and keep running at full power until they need a charge again. Love that Ryoby One packs work across a plethora of tools and I can bring one type of battery and one type of charger to a job now. The drill trigger activated light makes it so much easier working in poorly lit areas. Worth every penny!

That was a bad experience that I had (Ordering Ryobi Drill/Driver kit) . The item came soon that made me happy, but one of the two batteries was defective and wouldn't be charged. Also, there was some red marks on the back of the battery indicating there is something wrong with it or itmight be expired I guess. I do not believe that they didn't see that when they were packing it. Anyway, I decided to return the item because "there was no other option" to get a replaced good one, but purchasing a "NEW One" with %20 off that made me more disappointed. The item seemed good for the price, but the the service was so poor and disappointing. Also, there are lots of dislikes and complaints and same problem with the battery and the charger and it's poor functioning that unfortunately, I read after encountering the problem.
