John Windover

John Windover is the director of Bain & Company's Toronto office. He is a leader in the firm's Private Equity practice.

John has nearly 20 years of management consulting experience at Bain. He has worked in the firm's San Francisco and Chicago offices.

John primarily advises funds in the private equity industry, along with the portfolio companies they own, on due diligence, corporate and business unit growth strategy, customer segmentation, sales force effectiveness, product development, organizational design, cost and operations optimization and post-merger integration.

He earned a PhD and MSc in Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley. He also holds a BS in Engineering from Queen's University, where he received the Gold Medal for highest standing.
