ABSTRACT
The research is all about fast food chains and this aims to know which fast food
chain is the most preferred and least likely preferred in terms of the food, effectiveness
and ambiance of Accountancy, Business and Management Students in Arellano
University-Pasig. The method used in this research is descriptive wherein, the researcher
provide the students a survey which they are going to put a check in those they are in
favor. Also, we used a sampling procedure that is a cluster sampling. It helps to divide
the population into separate groups. Most of the respondents are female and 17 years old.
There are males and other ages but the female and 17 years old are the outstanding.
As shown in the results of our survey, in terms of acceptability of the product; the
Jollibee got the highest votes in burger, chicken and spaghetti. McDonalds got the highest
votes in fries and sundae while, the KFC got the lowest. In terms of effectiveness, the
very satisfied customers in Jollibee and McDonalds are the same and in satisfied; Jollibee
surpass the McDonalds. And just like in the product, KFC still got the lowest votes. In
ambiance, the most votes of very satisfied goes in McDonalds and the satisfied goes to
Jollibee and the lowest is still in KFC.
Therefore, the most likely preferred of Accountancy, Business and Management
Students in Arellano Pasig is Jollibee and the least preferred is KFC because of its
consistency in getting the lowest price.

THE PROBLEM AND ITS BACKGROUND
Introduction
E-Learning is still an developing showcase within the Philippines. Its utilize is
still scattered and most clients speak to as it were a little section of the Philippines
instruction and commerce communities. The consider needs to rectify examination and
right heading introduction for Philippine inaccessible instruction environment.
In reaction to the rise in confirmed cases of COVID-19 within the Philippines, President
Rodrigo Duterte suspended classes at all levels in Metro Manila initially on March 9,
2020 and given inconclusive date of resumption. Concordant with the open well being
crisis measures, the Department of Education issued guidelines prohibiting public schools
in regions with suspended classes from administering the final examinations
for students instep compute the final grades of of students for the scholastic year based on
their current academic standing. The department moreover prompted schools
in areas without suspension to immediately regulate final examinations within that week
on a "stunned premise" and for teachers and students while
observing social distancing measures. Parallel to the Office of Instruction, the
Commission on Higher Instruction (CHED) advised other institutions of
higher education within the Philippines to implement distance instruction strategies of
learning for its classes, such as the utilize of educational technology, to maximize
the academic term in spite of the suspensions.

E-learning has been a common conveyance media for instruction in developed nations. A
few developing nations just like the Philippines
have endeavored to grasp the modern learning space; be that as it
may, budgetary and acknowledgment components stay to be a issue that
would constrain its potential use. Whereas both the supply and request for E-
learning openings have risen in later a long time, especially at this time where health is
the issue and the most needed E-learning tool through the use of social media platform.
Social media is a computer-mediated tool that enables people to create, share, exchange
information, ideas, and pictures/videos in virtual communities or networks that depend on
mobile and web-based technologies. These social media platforms are widely used by a
million people around the world. Given the use of these digital networks, they seem not
only to impact how students interact with each other it personalizes the way people
experience and interacts with the web tools like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, You tube,
and Google used to be almost exclusively to take a break from academics, but social
media is increasingly being leveraged as a study tool, especially in our present
generation.
In this pandemic, the higher officials decided that education should not be put on
cessation and the best way to cope-up is to do an online class concourse for the students
to proceed this school year. Although it is a comprehensive solution to the dilemma, the
ISP in the Philippines cannot produce an excellent service to the people of this country
thus many students are struggling in this setup or this so-called " NEW NORMAL". It is
non-unusual knowledge that the Philippines belong to a third world country wherein it is
2
Rizal Technological University

notably underdeveloped compare to other nations when it comes to technology and
Wireless Fidelity (WI-FI). Aside from this, common Filipinos can’t manage to have a
stable internet connection to support and proceed this school year especially with the
pandemic ongoing that affects the livelihood of every family in the civilization. And the
Philippines possess so many provincial areas that are difficult to reach by any ISP or
satellite through data connection. This situation yields in an academic freeze dedicated to
the learners who can't voice out their opinions regarding this matter due to a lack of stable
internet connection. However, no matter what the students and parents do, the
Department Of Education (Dep-Ed), Commission on Higher Education (CHED), and the
higher officials of the government pursue the opening of classes.
The appearance of online education has made it possible in today's pandemic we
experienced and for limited flexibility to obtain a quality education. As opposed to
traditional classroom teaching, Web-based instruction or online class has made it possible
to offer classes worldwide through a single Internet connection. Although, several
Filipinos are inadequate to afford their resources, and some of them used social media
platforms just for their desire. With the right strategy, social media can make studying
more collaborative and efficient.
In this study, the researchers aim to know the most effective and efficient social media
platform to use for online learning of CBET students at Rizal Technological University,
which can provide a great convenience to the learners' financial capability and internet
connection.

REVIEW OF RELATED LITERATURE
Foreign Literature
O’Hare (2012), concluded that studying for a new qualification can often be one
of the most effective ways of boosting your career prospects, whether by enhancing or by
equipping you with professional qualifications that will enable you to move into a new
line of work. Some factors should be considered before signing up to a program, ensuring
that you find the right one, theories, and concepts, whereas vocational program teach the
hands-on skills relating to a specific profession such as nursing. One of the things
students should consider is whether to choose an academic or a vocational program.
This literature is related to our research because it discusses some hints that a
student should understand and know. This will help the students in deciding what
program to take. If the students will focus on vocational program or academic program. It
discusses the difference between vocational program which is focused on enhancing
skills while the academic or educational program focuses on bachelor, master’s degrees,
theories and concepts.
Melone, (2014) claimed that choosing the right career path is one of the most
important things you can do for yourself and your family. Whether you are choosing your
first career or embarking on a second or third, finding something that you enjoy and excel
at can do wonders to improve your whole life. While no job is perfect, there are some
factors you should consider to help ensure you get into the right career for you. Interest,
10
Rizal Technological University
704 Boni Ave Cor Sacrepante, Mandaluyong, 1550 Metro Manila
career opportunities, and education and training, these are the factors that Melone said to
be the main considerations of students in taking up a program.
Melone said that students should find out their career to pursue soon. Students
need to pursue a degree that will take into account the months and years required to train.
The author also said that students should put their passion and skills into a career, for
them to be likely to enjoy their college life and succeed in their future profession.
Hanson (2011), discussed that a career choice is a decision that affects the rest of
the students’ life. Career choices are pivotal points in adolescents’ life. So, no matter if
they are headed for work or for college, there are factors that affect their career decisions.
Role models, peers, grades, location, and time orientation are some of the factors students
should consider.
Based on what Hanson said, this article is related to the researchers’ study
because career choice is connected to the college life of each students. After college, a
student will pursue what he/she studied by having a career or profession. In career choice,
students will apply what they learned when they are still studying.
Schuldt (2011), cited that deciding where to apply can be a daunting task
considering that U.S. boasts about 3,000 colleges. The key to narrowing down your
options is to pick an initial pool of 20 to 25 colleges that interest you and to focus your
research efforts in these schools. Selecting a large pool of colleges upfront gives you the
flexibility to eliminate colleges that you decide do not suit you, leaving you with a range
of colleges to which you can apply. Try not to be too rigid in your preferences as they
11
Rizal Technological University
704 Boni Ave Cor Sacrepante, Mandaluyong, 1550 Metro Manila
may change as you learn more about the colleges during the search process in choosing a
college or university. Students should consider geographic location, enrollment, campus
setting, academic focus and the environment.
It is somehow related to the researchers’ research because the main topic of this
article is about how to find a school that is suited to each student and for their desired
school because if the students have a good program but the school he/she is enrolled with
is not expert in the program that they picked, the quality of their education is not that
high.
Petrilli (2014), shared that people who graduated from college earn significantly
more that those who do not. It also indicates that low-income students in particular
benefits from college, becoming nearly three times more likely to make it into the middle
class that their peers who earn some or no college credits. And it’s not just about money,
college graduates are also healthier and more involved in their communities, and happier
in their jobs.
Petrilli’s article is related to our research because it shows the benefit of studying
the program that the students really love. And it also shows that students who graduated
have the opportunity to earn more, in this case students should strive hard in studying so
in the future their life will be successful and great.

Local Literature
Limpahan (2014), emphasized that college is all about preparing for the real
world, and choosing the right college program is the best preparation one can have. Why
make a big thing of a college program? Well, most students go to school to secure a
bright future for themselves and their families at the same time, a college program can
predetermine the professional identity one may have for life.
The article written by Limpahan is related to this research because it emphasizes
how choosing a college program is important. This is the best preparation for the
students’ future. One can secure a bright future if they choose the right program for them.
Pascual (2014), considered that the involvement of family, school administrators
and guidance counselor to help students make good career choice in the future. Respect
for family is one of the most influential factors that impact Filipino student’s career
decision. Aside from family related factors, economic factors which includes the
employability and availability of job in the future is also considered by students.
This study is related to this research because it states the different factors to be
considered in choosing a course. According to Pascual, family is one of the most
influential factors that affect Filipino student’s course decision.
Hanna (2013), concluded that picking a college to attend is only half of the
decision, though. The other half involves choosing an actual program to pursue. Seniors
13
Rizal Technological University
704 Boni Ave Cor Sacrepante, Mandaluyong, 1550 Metro Manila
trooping to various university campuses for taking their entrance exams. After all, that is
a major step in being able to attend the college of their choice.
Hanna talks about the courses which is connected to this research. According to
her, another factor to consider is the university campus. Choosing the college program to
attend is still the major step.
DOLE Secretary Rosalinda Dimapilis-Baldoz (2011), pointed out that parents
should take an active role in their children's career choice. "Career guides are very
important to parents. Gone are the days when a parent's task is merely disciplinary. Now,
parents should have a developmental role as they actively engage themselves in the
career planning process of their children. They must be able to convey to their children
the significance of choosing the right career," DOLE secretary said.
This literature wants to imply that parents have a big role in deciding on what
program their children should choose because they are the one that will give the financial
support. Not only the financial but also their opinion about a certain course because they
are the one who are more knowledgeable in life.
Bacani (2014), The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) is advising
incoming college students to go for "priority courses" for them to get financial assistance
and to land in-demand jobs that could help spur economic growth. According to the new
list, the priority courses are those in the fields of agriculture, engineering, science and
math, information technology, teacher education, health sciences, arts and humanities,
social and behavioral sciences, business administration, architecture, maritime and

communication. Skills and jobs that match the projected employment requirements of key
industries until 2020.
According to this literature, one should consider the job opportunity in choosing a
college program which is one of the factors affecting the choice of program in this
research. By prioritizing what job are in demand, this could help a lot to economic
growth.
Foreign Studies
Roach, McGaughey and Downey (2013), the study asserted that economic
demand is more important to students than interest in the field.
This study is related to this research because it tells that a student considers
economic demand more important than interest in the field. The student will choose a
course where they can get a job easily.
Huanye (2013), said that a person who is forced to do a job that he or she does
not enjoy will quickly lose interest in his or her work. The career that the student should
choose must be fulfilling. It must allow the student to express their creativity and
individuality.
Huanye affirmed that if a person is forced to do a job he or she will not succeed.
Students need to choose a program they truly love. This is in some ways related to this
research.
15
Rizal Technological University
704 Boni Ave Cor Sacrepante, Mandaluyong, 1550 Metro Manila
Otpeng (2012), found out that career choice is a complex decision for people
since it determines the kind of profession that they intend to pursue in life. For some
people an interest is of such importance in their life that it is the main influence on their
career choice.
This study showed that students who pursue the things they love will succeed. It
is hard to imagine spending time on something you do not like.
Sanchez (2013), observed that having a solid application will lead you to the right
path, enrolling into college with the help and knowledge from high school is a great
resource, rather than depending on yourself to create a phenomenal college application.
This study pointed out that students will never be truly great at what they do if
they do not have any passion for their work.
Shumba and Naong (2012), believed that several studies show that new students
all over the world are usually faced with a dilemma in making career choice decision in
their lives. Mothers were cited as partiscularly influential because they provide support
that eases children’s apprehension about careers.
According to this study, choosing a program is a difficult decision to make.
Parents are one of the factors that greatly affect the student in choosing their program.
16
Rizal Technological University
704 Boni Ave Cor Sacrepante, Mandaluyong, 1550 Metro Manila
Local Studies
Del Norte (2013), believed that people who graduated college found more job
opportunities available to them than those who had a lower form of education. The
researcher believes that students who graduate college with the program suited for them
will even have a higher percentage of landing a job. Del Norte believed that graduated
people get more job opportunities than those who did not finished their studies. They can
easily find a job that is suited for them and related to their chosen program.
Chan (2013), indicated that the decision of a career is firstly based on what
educational qualification you have or is looking forward to having. It is based on your
personality and the path or field you have inclination in that will decide the job for that
you will apply. The researcher considered that there will be certain factors that will really
be very important and you will have to give them importance to select the career. Then
again try to select the path which best fulfills every need yet makes you happy working
on it.
Chan stated that career decision-making is based on the student’s skills. Students
who choose career that is based on their personalities will enjoy their work and succeed
in the future.
Romero (2013), stated that each student has unique personality with special
drives and abilities. These drives affect their motivation to exert energy to decide.
17
Rizal Technological University
704 Boni Ave Cor Sacrepante, Mandaluyong, 1550 Metro Manila
Decision-making opens to the portal for student to assess his/her liabilities and assets and
how he or she would want to use them. It is necessary to examine individual decisions in
the context of a set of need, preferences an individual has and values they seek.
Romero stated that students have their own different skills and personalities. It
affects the students in choosing their college program.
Charmaine (2014), expressed that career planning may be considered as one of
the most important paths in an individual’s life, which leads to making informed career
decisions or choices.
Charmaine asserted that in most cases where individuals make wrong career
choices or decisions, they end up being unemployable or may find themselves moving
from one career to the next because they actually don’t know themselves quite well
where they end up seeking for career assistance.
Atinaja (2013), said that many students find it difficult in choosing what course
to take in college. For seniors or graduating high school students, the pressure goes
higher as the end of their term is coming because the time is running and decreasing for
deciding what course they will take. Choosing a course is really a hard decision to make.
Your future depends on it and the decision you will make would determine what life you
will have in the future.
Atnaja wants to imply students should be really careful in choosing a course
because it is a hard decision to make. Student’s decision will greatly affect their
profession in the future. Acupan, Amuan, Galang, Manalo, Pinpin, Remoquillo (2012)
18
Rizal Technological University
704 Boni Ave Cor Sacrepante, Mandaluyong, 1550 Metro Manila
expressed that in choosing proper choice of program, students will be able to develop and
improve our God given talents and apply our knowledge and intelligence to it, though it
is a free of cost opportunity to select and pick a program, this is not an easy task for it
requires a lot of analysis of the course and decision-making.
This study is related to the current study because students should rely and
improve their God-given talents that they will use to pick the right program.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
Research Methodology
This research was conducted to determine the most effective and efficient social media
platform for an online class of CBET students. A descriptive type of research was
employed. This research study used quantitative methods for determining students'
learning enhancement. Quantitative data was collected via closed-ended questions with
answers related to a 10- point Likert scale starting from multiple questions to "strongly
agree" and "strongly disagree." The researchers seek to collect all variable detailed
information to answer and solve the study. The survey itself was sent to students' email
addresses and Facebook group while in the semester is ongoing.
Research Method Used
The researchers used a descriptive method research design conducted as a survey online,
to know the statements of the respondents regarding the most effective and efficient
social media platform to use in asynchronous ad synchronous learning. It is used in the
study to determine the effect how the students can adapt to this new normal way of
learning and how does social media platform give convenience to the students while
doing an online class. With this method, the researchers can show the most effective and
efficient social media platform preferred by the students with regards to their financial
capability or family status. The techniques used are survey questionnaires that are
20
Rizal Technological University
704 Boni Ave Cor Sacrepante, Mandaluyong, 1550 Metro Manila
conducted online. The researchers can see the other factors affecting the students in
pursuing online classes such as the family income, ISP and the gadgets they have.
Population Frame
The respondents of this study are the college students of the College of Business and
Entrepreneurial Technology in the Rizal Technological University. The researchers will
use the convenient sampling technique to conduct the entire research with a sample size
of 100 respondents. The survey will take them about less than five minutes to complete
the survey.
Sampling Techniques
The sampling technique that will be used for the study is the convenience sampling
technique. The convenience sampling technique is a specific type of non-probability
sampling method that relies on data collection from population members who are
conveniently available to participate in a study. In this study the researcher used the non-
probability sampling method - convenience sampling, to gather relevant information.
This method involves collecting units that are easy to access and is known as one of the
least time-consuming types of sampling methods. The researcher finds it easier to
conduct research using this method during this pandemic in which physical contact is
prohibited. In this study, the respondents are the business college student wherein easy to
contact and communicate with to be able to answer the survey questionnaire.

Description of Respondents
The respondents of this study are the CBET students at Rizal Technological University
that are being chosen by the researchers to complete this study. They are described
according to their name, g-mail address, age, gender; male, female and prefer not to say,
as well as, their family income. The respondents take the online survey questionnaire
according to their willingness to answer what the researcher gave to them. Thus, this
information will be helpful to be able to know the outcome of this study.
Data Gathering Procedure
For this study, the researcher conducts a survey questionnaire about the most effective
and efficient social media platform to use for online classes that are being answered by
the selected type of respondents, which serves as the major tool that helps the researchers
to collect and gathered information. It involves the use of a structured questionnaire, the
researchers use open-ended format questionnaire. The survey was compromised of 7
appropriate questions, with a choices. The survey questions are based on the factors used
by the researcher to guide the respondents towards the satisfaction of the research
objectives. The participants were given time to respond and then the researchers collected
the survey to the respondents. The researcher surveyed a certain number or equal to 100
of CBET Students in Rizal Technological University. The survey form questionnaire
starts by knowing some information about the respondents demographic profile,
followed by multiple questions which the answer is also given, and followed by Likert
scale "strongly agree" to "strongly disagree." As for the distribution of the questionnaire,

PRESENTATION, ANALYSIS, AND INTERPRETATION OF DATA
This chapter addresses the presentation of data analysis and findings from the survey
questionnaire completed by CBET students who responded to the survey form willingly.
The objective of the study is to distinguish the most effective and efficient social media
platform to use for Cbet students at Rizal Technological University, as well as, the factors
that have affected the students' online learning. The data is obtained with the help of one
hundred (100) respondents who take the online survey questionnaire through Google
form.

A. Students Demographic:
Demographic questions were incorporated in the survey to gain some necessary
background information on the enrolled students. Simple summation calculations and
percentages were used for this data. Results from the demographic age of the survey are
presented in Table 1. The respondents' age ranged from 19-23 years old (100%) based on
25
Rizal Technological University

the responses. This is due to the fact that the Cbet students are offered in the curriculum
of the first year to third-year students at Rizal Technological University. The course is
shown in junior status. Five (5%) for students answered prefer not in the survey, twenty-
eight (28%) students were male, and sixty eight (68%) were female, pointing to a larger
population of female respondents. They were all single in civil status. The students were
enrolled in the different academic programs from Rizal Technological University under
the College of Business Education and Technology.

nts were asked to indicate the types of internet connection that they used. The largest
response was Fiber users (n = 41.4, 41.4%). The second largest was Load from the store
with a 27.3 or 27.3% response, followed by Wireless broadband with a 15.2 or 15.22%.
Other internet connections gathered 11.1 or 11.1% response. the largest type of internet
connection for students is Fiber, followed by Load from the store.
D. Student’s devices
Students were asked if they owned at least one device at home. Findings presented in
Table 5 show that the students' devices were mainly for the accomplishment of academic
activities. In this case, these particular courses adopted online class device forms
primarily to facilitate teaching and learning. Given that the device used for online classes
28

has unique characteristics and capabilities, it has explored the purposes and benefits for
different devices with similar services.
Smart Phone is the most popular device used for an online class to the students; about
91(91%) students prefer devices followed by laptops, Desktop Pc, and others. About
Fifty-two of the respondents prefer laptops as their best-preferred device for the online
class. Only 22% of respondents prefer Desktop Pc, followed by tablets, with 10% of
students using devices and other devices response one percent.
E. Social media platform for Synchronous class
Before starting online class, students had multiple social media platforms, such as
Facebook, Messenger, Google meets, Zoom, etc. We asked After the semester, the usage
of the social media platform used in the synchronous class. The results were presented in
Table 6.

After taking the course, Google meets got the highest percentage (84.4%). The students
were motivated to create their profiles. The two social media platform were used as a tool
in education in blended learning instruction. Zoom had- 26 or 26.3% response, while
others such as Messenger, Facebook, etc., had 16 or 16.2%. Facebook had a 3 or 3%
response. The others both have 1 or 1% response.. The use of all social media platform
increased in percentage after taking the course for synchronous class.

5. Google Classroom is the most
convenient app to use at online class. 46.5% Agree
Better experience students.
The findings showed that almost all students were “ Agreed” that the Messenger helped
online classes. This means that they are familiar with using the Social media platform.
Even though some professors gave online quizzes outside the Messenger, students were
not worried and had a positive attitude towards the subject. A majority felt that they had
a better experience when they used Messenger. These were also experienced by the
students in the York University study when Ostown and York (2012) conducted a survey
on e-learning in a Business course.
Better engaged students.
Forty-one of respondents both “Agreed” to collect and send information for the level of
students’ engagement in Google classroom and G-mail. The respondents had a positive
attitude. They perceived that the combination of both traditional and online methods
improved their educational outcomes because they had a better engagement in the
subject/course. Similar results were gathered by Ostown and York (2012) and Malawi
(2013) in their research.
Enhance student learning.

Forty-three used to determine the student's perception of improved learning using Google
meet and Zoom in a social media platform. Results revealed that respondents "Agreed"
that the utilization of social media enhanced their learning experience. Similar results
were collected by Murphy (2011) in his study. The application of social media platforms
complements the traditional method, which enhanced the students' training process,
indicating a positive effect on student knowledge acquisition.
G. Suggested social media platform for students
In a multiple answer type question, students most suggested 100 % for online classes is
Google meet for different purposes, such as meetings, study online, and entertainment.
A majority of students used Google meets in education, followed by Google Classroom,
Zoom, etc.
Discussion
As mentioned by Nobles (2011), the use of social networking applications
focuses on what today’s learner needs to be self-directed and able to access relevant,
current information using technology that allows global access to resources (p. 2-3).
32
Rizal Technological University
704 Boni Ave Cor Sacrepante, Mandaluyong, 1550 Metro Manila
The application of Facebook in Higher Education is an effective medium in
teaching and learning undertakings, as Harris (2012) mentioned in his research. Similarly,
the use of Messenger and Google meet as a platform in education helps the student to be
actively engaged in the subject matter. The creation of groups and interactions among
students allows them to access the syllabus, and communication quickly becomes faster,
leading to better engagement and better learning experiences.
On the other hand, using Messenger and Google meets a platform that
encourages students to be actively engaged in learning. This was also similar to Sanders's
(2012) findings, proving that Edmodo is an academic networking site that was a useful
tool in encouraging student engagement. Majid (2011) revealed that most students find
the Edmodo site very helpful and helpful, with more than 77% of the population
answered. The use of Google meet, and Messenger as an educational platform was useful
in practicing responsible learning principles. This was similar to Sanders's (2012) results
when he evaluated Edmodo's use as a teaching strategy and employed the technology in
class. Majid (2011) also mentioned that the use of social networking improves English
learning as perceived by the students at the Telecom Polytechnic.
In the study conducted by Imlawi (2013), he proposed "an engagement model
that support[ed] [the] use of course-based online social networks for engaging student[s],
and hence, improving their educational outcomes." His research demonstrated that
"instructors who create[d] course-based online social media platforms to communicate
33
Rizal Technological University
704 Boni Ave Cor Sacrepante, Mandaluyong, 1550 Metro Manila
with students could increase student engagement in these online social media platforms."
In particular, he used Facebook as a platform, which is similar to the current study. His
findings supported the research results presented in this paper regarding useful devices or
apps in students' perceived educational outcomes.
In parallel with other survey studies conducted (Mortera-Gutierrez, 2006;
Poon, 2012; Nellman, 2008; Edginton & Holbrook, 2010; Fearon, Starr, &
McLaughlin, 2011; Murphy, 2011; and Zhang & Han, 2012), the findings of this study
indicated that blended learning is becoming a popular delivery method. Although blended
learning has not yet replaced traditional classroom training, this study's results indicate
that blended learning has become increasingly popular due to its beneficial effect.
Moreover, the students were more engaged using social media platforms, resulting in
better understanding and experience.
Amaral and Shank (2010), an article about how to enhance student learning and
retention with blended learning class guides, indicated that "the technological
enhancements in the redesigned hybrid course raised the students' course grades to almost
passing in the fall semesters and to passing grades in the spring semesters." For Amaral
and Shank, "[t]he blended learning class guides provide[d] more than a detailed syllabus
or simple online study guide" (2010). According to their results, blended learning could
help "lower-level, general education chemistry students better understand course content,
which has led to improved student test scores and course retention" (2010). Similarly,
34
Rizal Technological University
704 Boni Ave Cor Sacrepante, Mandaluyong, 1550 Metro Manila
blended learning in a general education course like the College of Business Education
and Technology, as perceived by the students in Rizal Technological University,
provided better key understanding and learning on the course content.
