There have been a few occasions where Blender crashes or my computer shuts down. Most of the time, nothing happens, but I've already had two instances where the add-on stops working. This has happened twice on different machines, and I've lost my task list. After doing some research, I found that the issue lies with the bps.json file in the Blender add-ons data. When I open it, the file is filled entirely with null values.

It would be great to have a versioning system.

Describe alternatives you've considered
Currently, I manually back up the bps.json file. I appreciate that it's a separate file since I sync the config files between 2 computers and lose all recent files data
