Neteyam's Banshee was the banshee that was tamed by Neteyam, the son of Jake Sully and Neytiri. Its skin is green in color with yellow and brown stripes, which is very similar in appearance to his mother's late ikran Seze.
Biography[]
Avatar: The High Ground[]
Neteyam underwent his Iknimaya ritual some time before 2168 and fraternized with his banshee on the first try. As the son of Olo'eyktan and heir to the title, the boy often accompanied his parents on all missions and learned Na'vi traditions from them; many of them watched flights over the mountains. Neteyam flew in his ikran, among others after his brother Lo'ak's failed Iknimaya attempt, when the whole family left on a joint flight.
During a council of war called in the face of a new wave of humans returning to Pandora, the Sully children (Lo'ak, Kiri, Tuktirey, and Spider) slipped away to the nearby ancient battlefield. However, they soon got lost and noticing their absence, Jake asked Neteyam to go look for his siblings from the air. Although Wu Mingxia, who was piloting a Samson, was also called to help. Neteyam eventually found his siblings.
Avatar: The Way of Water[]
In 2170, Neteyam and Lo'ak were assigned to act as airborne observers with their banshees.
When the Sully family decides to emigrate away from the Omatikaya clan in order to escape the RDA, Neteyam, like the rest of the family, rides his banshee and travels to the territory of the Metkayina Clan on its back. Afterwards, his banshee was not shown again for the rest of the film, even after Neteyam's death.
Avatar: Fire and Ash[]
Neteyam's banshee appears only when Lo'ak dreams of his brother.
