👋 I'm starting a new React project with a video requirement that has some custom integrations (timeline related bookmarking, mostly) which will release in the next couple of months, assuming Video.js v10 is just a bit too alpha for my timelines, which player would provide me the easiest migration path going forward? |

👋 all, I've been quiet for a while — basically all of last year. My son was born (second on the way!), I joined Mux, and I needed time to understand what we were building before I could genuinely share it with you all. I'm sorry for the gap and uncertainty 🙏
I appreciate how much everyone supported me while I was building. Thank you, truly. Excited to have something to look forward to together.
🗞️ The News
Vidstack, Media Chrome, and Plyr are combining forces. We're building Video.js v10 from the ground up at Mux. I wrote the full story — what worked, what didn't, why this made sense, and where it's going:
Blog Post: 6 years building video players. 9 billion requests. Starting over.
Alpha in the works, new site coming too! Migration guide will be made available when it's time.
