Note 1: In the lists below, when we refer to English or any other lang, it means not only the monolingual English dictionary benefits of the said improvements & fixes, but also all bilingual dictionaries using English as the destination lang (like ES-EN, KO-EN, etc.).

Note 2: With every update comes a bag of improvements & fixes in words definitions & etymologies for all langs. Those are changes directly applied on the Wiktionary by thousand of contributors. This is implicit that they are part of our dictionaries.

❤️‍🩹 Fixes

• Parts of speech are no more sorted alphabetically but kept as shown on the Wiktionary (reader-dict/monolingual#2591).

• German: removed leading # that could be found in etymologies (reader-dict/monolingual@2bddb2f).

❤️‍🔥 New Features

• Definitions are now exactly like you can read them on the Wiktionary, making a big quality step (the said "legendary" update from the website bandeau, reader-dict/monolingual#2520).

• More variants are supported out-of-the-box (reader-dict/monolingual#2534).

• 🚧 Support for derived terms. (cancelled since it does not provide relevant data)

• New language: Japanese (reader-dict/monolingual@c7cbb49).

• Chinese: support pronunciations (reader-dict/monolingual@b6075d2).

• Spanish: support pronunciations (reader-dict/monolingual@9036ab0).

• Chinese, Danish, English, Esperanto: new Serbo-Croatian dictionaries (SR-xx).

• Indonesian, Malay: a lot more variants are now generated from grammatical rules (reader-dict/report-a-word#11).

💖 Improvements

• Danish, English, German, French, Portuguese, Spanish: more variants.
• French:
  • Dropped "nom de famille" section, not relevant (reader-dict/monolingual#2578).
  • Removed useless details in etymology like "(Date à préciser)" (reader-dict/monolingual@c9a00e8).
• Russian: shortened parts of speech (reader-dict/monolingual@464a8bf).

💔 Temporary Blockers

• Native Pocketbook support (reader-dict/monolingual#2450). Given that we failed to get help from Pocketbook/Vivlio, donations are welcome to help us dedicating more time on the subject.
